Avengers Actor Jeremy Renner Heavily Injured While Ploughing Snow; Actor In Critical But Stable Condition-DETAILS BELOW
Jeremy Renner was airlifted to the hospital on Sunday and his family is with him now, he is reported to be ‘receiving excellent care’
Marvel’s superhero Jeremy Renner aka The Hawkeye, is in ‘critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather-related accident while ploughing snow earlier today’, reported Deadline on Sunday.
For those unaware, the two-time Oscar nominee is the star of the returning Paramount+ series The Mayor of Kingstown and Marvel’s Hawkeye series on Disney+ as well as the Avengers and Captain America films.
As per the Deadline reports, Renner had been airlifted to the hospital on Sunday. His spokesperson also shared that his family is with him now and he is ‘receiving excellent care.’
The recent development comes after Renner, who has a home in the area, near Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe, about 25 miles from Reno, saw a winter storm hit on New Year’s Eve. These unprecedented weather conditions lead to 35,000 homes across Northern Nevada’s Washoe, Carson, Douglas, Storey and Lyon's counties losing power as of this morning, according to the Reno Gazette-Journal.
Interestingly, Renner is a popular name in Hollywood. In a career spanning more than two decades, the actor has bagged a Best Actor Oscar nomination in 2010 for The Hurt Locker, and landed a Supporting Actor Oscar nom the next year for The Town.
Meanwhile, he has an interesting lineup of projects and his Mayor of Kingstown begins its second season on January 15 on Paramount+. The series is created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon and produced by 101 Studios, Bosque Ranch Productions, MTV Entertainment Studios and Paramount Network for Par+.
Previously, Renner starred in Sheridan’s 2017 drama Wind River.
